2010-08-20Marin Home Prices Increase While Buyers are Showing Caution.
Looks like we are seeing home prices in Marin going up 10% from July '09 - July '10. The Median price of a home a year ago was $650,000 and as of July of this year it is $715,000. There has been a slow down in homes sold from a year ago by 15.5%. Marin Condos have slowed down to 51% less this year than from 2009. Stricker lending standards have taken place that may be causing this.
The great news is the Mortgage Rates are down to 3.875%!! If you are considering buying a home this is one of the best times ever.
