San Anselmo is really cute town. Most of the buildings downtown are vintage with restaurants and stores of all types from vintage clothing & furniture stores to fun restaurants. There are old neighborhoods of vintage homes that surround the little downtown. This is one of my favorite places. It's like time stood still when you look at the town yet the people are warm, genuine and friendly. Further out in the hills the homes were built from the 1940'-1980's. There is an area that is northwest of town called Sleepy Hollow, which is in a valley comprising of large Ranch Style home with acreage built in the 1950's-1980's. It is zoned for horses yet here are lawns and lots of trees. There is something for most anyone here.
